Chris Justin Outraises All Opponents Combined for 2025 Reporting Period
Reaffirms Pledge to NOT Take Utility Money
NEW ORLEANS, LA — March 3, 2026 — No Party candidate Chris Justin reported a total of $87,020.50 raised in 2025, outraising all of his opponents combined, who have reported a combined total of $23,208.98 for the same period.
Justin's fundraising strength comes despite facing one of the most restrictive ballot access systems in the country. In fact, Justin was forced to spend nearly double what all of his opponents combined have raised simply to complete the petition process required for a No Party candidate to qualify for the ballot.
"While others were able to qualify by paying a fee, we had to build a full campaign operation just to give voters another choice," Justin said. "The support we've received shows there is real momentum behind an independent voice focused on lowering utility costs, strengthening grid reliability, and putting ratepayers first."
Justin has also pledged that he will not accept any campaign contributions from the utility companies he would regulate on the Public Service Commission. He is calling on all of his opponents to make the same commitment to ensure the independence and integrity of the office.
"You cannot effectively regulate the very companies financing your campaign," Justin said. "Ratepayers deserve a commissioner who answers to them, not to the utilities AND not to political parties."
With ballot access secured, strong financial momentum, and a clear ethics pledge, Justin says his campaign is now fully focused on transparency, accountability, and practical solutions that protect Louisiana families from rising utility costs and pay-to-play politics.
